I received my medical ARNP in 1998 and psychiatric ARNP in 2000 from Florida International University. I graduated from Barry University with a BSN and Master’s in nursing and completed coursework toward my PhD. I was a professor of nursing at Miami Dade College from 1993 to 2008, earning an Endowed Teaching Chair. I started a private practice in 1998 and continue it in the present. My expertise includes addiction, bipolar disorders, panic, depression, anxiety, marriage counseling, individual therapy, and medication management. My love for psychiatry is eminently visible in my patient interactions. I always have time to listen, practices holistic care, and prescribe medications judiciously. I am ethical and value everyone for who they are. I am not judgmental. I have spent the past 30 years ascribing to this motto.
