What We Treat

Addictions

Experimental drug use can quickly turn into a desire to achieve an ever growing high, with more frequent use. Soon, the drug becomes the only way to feel good. Addiction therapy can get your life back on track of not depending on drugs.

Anger Management

Do you get angry when you are asked to open up and share your feelings? Do you lack patience? Are your family members or kids afraid to talk to you? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, it may be time to consider anger management therapy.

Anxiety

Anxiety disorders differ from normal feelings of nervousness or anxiousness, and involve excessive fear or stress that seems to be unfounded. Anxiety disorders are the most common of mental disorders and affect nearly 30% of adults at some point in their lives. Treating anxiety can lead to a more productive life.

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

There are 3 primary characteristics of ADHD: Inattentiveness, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. All 3 aren’t always prominent in a child with ADHD, and can manifest without “bouncing off the walls.” Treating ADHD can significantly help a child with school and social settings.

Depression

Depression (major depressive disorder) is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think, how you enjoy activities and how you act. Fortunately, it is also treatable.

Eating Disorders

Eating disorders are illnesses in which the people experience severe disturbances in their eating behaviors and related thoughts and emotions. We offer an intensive, evidence-based, integrated outpatient eating disorder treatment program.

Insomnia

People with insomnia usually experience one or more of the following symptoms: fatigue, low energy, difficulty concentrating, mood disturbances, and decreased performance in work or at school. Insomnia can be treated effectively through our Neurofeedback service.

Headaches & Migraines

People with chronic migraine headaches may find it hard to attend work or school regularly. A headache can occur in any part of the head, on both sides of the head, or in just one location -- Neurofeedback has been helpful in treating headaches.

Learning Disabilities

Learning Disabilities is an umbrella term that covers a wide variety of conditions that affect learning and intake/retention of new information. We help treat a variety of learning disabilities through evidence-based treatment.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

OCD is an anxiety disorder in which people have recurring, unwanted thoughts, ideas or sensations that make them feel driven to do something repetitively. This can significantly interfere with a person’s daily activities and social interactions.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

PTSD is a disorder that can occur in people who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event such as a natural disaster, a serious accident, war/combat, rape or other violent personal assault. We can help dealing with PTSD, and underlying causes.

Stress Management

Women’s Issues

Women may experience certain environmental, psychological and biological challenges related that have a significant impact on their mental health and wellbeing. If not addressed properly, these challenges can turn into burdens that often lead to anxiety, depression and a lost sense of self.

Men’s Issues

From a young age, men are taught rigid masculinity, to be strong and to keep their emotions from surfacing. This often leads to many men feeling isolated, anxious and depressed. This, combined with the stigma of seeking therapy, can lead to a very difficult position.
