I attended Barry University for my undergraduate degree where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in psychology in 2015. I went on to complete the Masters of Science program in Clinical Psychology, also at Barry University, in 2018. My training experiences at Barry included providing assessments, psychometrics, and in-home psychotherapy services to children, families, and older adults in the North Miami area covering a wide range of presentations including depression, anxiety, trauma, rehabilitation, parent planning, and interpersonal/relational issues. Following the completion of the Master’s degree I was employed with PsychSolutions providing on-site therapy services predominantly to children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 17 years old until my acceptance into Nova-Southeastern Doctorate in Clinical Psychology program in 2019. While at PsychSolutions, I was engaged in parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT). These modalities were expanded upon during my doctoral training at Nova-Southeastern University (NSU) where I completed practicum training at NSU on site psychological services clinic and Pediatric Psychology Associates where I engaged in academic and psycho-social evaluations, providing psychotherapy, and group therapy interventions.
